The Role

As a Restaurant Head Waiter, you will:

  • Lead the restaurant floor team to deliver exceptional, seamless dining experiences for all guests.
  • Coordinate service flow between the restaurant, kitchen, and bar teams to maintain the highest standards.
  • Mentor and support junior waiters, ensuring consistent training and development across the team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for guest requests, ensuring all needs are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with VIP and special event service, ensuring memorable experiences for all guests.

The Twenty Two is a privately owned, luxury 31-bedroom hotel with an all-day public restaurant and private members’ club, set in a historic Edwardian manor on Grosvenor Square, London. About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture, with a genuine drive to create memorable guest experiences.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter or senior waiter in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Excellent guest service skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and mentor junior team members.
  • A professional, polished appearance and approach.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth running of the restaurant floor during service.
  • Train and guide junior waiters to uphold service standards.
  • Liaise with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, handling requests and feedback professionally.
  • Support with VIP guest experiences, private dining, and events as required.
