The Role

As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will:

  • Administrative Support: Assist the Bar Managers with their administrative tasks and duties.
  • Personal Assistant Tasks: Provide personal assistant support to the Bar Managers, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising bar staff.
  • Inventory Control: Order, take inventory of stock, and maintain records of purchases and sales.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating bar services for events.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Bar Managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a passion for the hospitality industry and bar operations.
  • Possess strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Are familiar with basic Microsoft Office tools and inventory management software.
  • Preferably have experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
