The Role

As a Breakfast Chef, you will:

  • Prepare and execute a high-standard breakfast offering for guests and staff.
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation across all breakfast dishes.
  • Work efficiently to meet tight service windows and dietary requirements.
  • Support the staff welfare meal programme as part of your daily responsibilities.
  • Assist with morning prep for other sections as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols diligently.

The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on London’s historic Grosvenor Square. Our property, set within a listed Edwardian manor, combines cultural elegance with modern charm. We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members’ club with 31 bedrooms and suites.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar breakfast chef role at a comparable standard.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage early service alone or in small teams.
  • Strong communication and a calm, professional demeanour under time pressure.
  • A clear understanding of allergen handling and food safety best practice.
  • The ability to follow recipes precisely while presenting with creativity.
  • Flexibility to work early starts, weekends, and occasional split shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items to standard.
  • Organise mise en place and stock rotation for the breakfast section.
  • Keep accurate records of fridge temperatures, allergens, and cleaning checks.
  • Communicate with FOH for special guest or member requests.
  • Support staff food provision as scheduled.
  •  Maintain clean and compliant kitchen practices.
