The Role

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will:

  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Lead sections during service, ensuring consistency, quality and efficiency
  • Act as a role model for junior chefs, supporting training development and standards
  • Contribute to menu execution, preparation and service delivery at the highest level

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture and who align naturally with our values.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or similar role within a high-quality hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • A proactive approach to learning development and team support

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and service delivery
  • Lead and supervise sections, ensuring food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Assist with training, coaching and mentoring junior kitchen team members
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and company standards
  • Support stock control, ordering and waste management in line with kitchen procedures
