Restaurant Administrator

Reports to: General Manager

Department: FOH Managers

Location: Dawson Street


Key Responsibilities

· Take ownership for all tasks, duties and responsibilities assigned to you, ensuring they are successfully completed, in a timely manner, to the required standard.

· Support ordering equipment including: stationary, uniforms, crockery

· To have Fourth hospitality program knowledge including uploading and closing rotas for all members of staff.

· To ensure all staff files are correct, uploaded immediately and kept up to date on 4th hospitality system. Check right to work.

· Ensure a good working relationship with various suppliers.

· Organize and prepare invoices.

· Support and check cash out, ensuring all end of day reports are consistent and to company standards.

· Complete daily banking procedures.

· Proactively attend relevant training courses for professional and skill development.

· Monitor business occupancy tracker.

· Conduct office management tasks.

· Help standardizing operational procedures across the company.

· Support other members of staff regarding company procedures and policies.

· Organising weekly stock take.

· Communicate any potential problems to the Line Manager.

· Adhere to all company rules and regulations and procedures, actively complying with all reasonable requests or communications from the Company.

· Have a positive and supportive approach to communication with all members of staff.


Health and Safety

· Comply with and ensure the team understands and follows all Company procedures, particularly food hygiene & health and safety.

· Encourage employees to work safely and look out for the safety of fellow workers.

· Ensure all new starters receive a thorough induction and are given all the initial help they need to achieve the required standards in their new job.


Leadership

· Attend Managers, department, restaurant and Company meetings as required.

· Be proactive in solving problems.

· Strive to improve the operation with new ideas and to implement advice and suggestions immediately.

· Act as a role model to all new employees, by showing a positive approach to team work through excellent team support and communication.
