Job summary
Function: To generate financial success whilst exceeding internal and external guest expectations
Purpose: To achieve excellence in service by constantly striving to attain and exceed The Landmark Hotel minimum standards

Main Duties and responsibilities:

1 Responsible to the Private Bar supervisor for the efficient (time and quality) completion of daily private bar duties
2 To carry-out your daily private bar duties under minimum supervision.
3 To Re-Stock all guest room Private Bars: With the correct number of each product With all product labels are facing forward With all products and items being spotlessly clean To monitor all stock to ensure freshness by checking ‘Best before’ dates of products and practising stock rotation
4 To ensure Landmark minimum standards are achieved 99% of the time
5 To be responsible for the daily running of the Private Bar in the absence of the Private Bar supervisor
6 To ensure that Private bar trolleys and pantries are in perfect condition through participating in daily cleaning
7 To participate in routine ‘Spring cleaning’ of all private bars, trolleys and pantries.
8 To monitor all private bar equipment and organise routine maintenance to ensure that no equipment causes safety hazards or experiences pre-mature breakage.
9 To actively seek to increase the Private Bar revenue collection rates, through the accurate and timely charge of guest accounts using the Private Bar POS system.
10 To monitor stock and par levels to prevent wastage and theft
11 To maintain accurate par levels of stock and complete daily ordering and collection of items from stores so that all items are always in stock.
12 Always use ‘Attendant in Room’ sign when entering un-occupied rooms.
13 Complete correct sign in/out procedures for master keys and pagers and to use master key only for your own entry into guest rooms.
14 Always assist Room Service in the removal of dirty trays/trolleys from guest rooms and corridors
15 To provide training for new members of staff
16 To help Room Service with service when requested by a Headwaiter or Manager
17 To work together with other members of staff in all departments so as to build a Landmark team atmosphere.
18 To ensure your standard of personal hygiene is an excellent example to other members of your team.
19 To attend training sessions as necessary
20 To attend and participate in departmental communication meetings
21 To adhere to health, safety and emergency procedures in accordance with company policy and government regulations
