An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Lowry Hotel – Manchester’s Iconic Hotel for the position of HR Director. 

The main objective of this role is to  develop, implement and manage the people strategy for the hotel team. This role is integrated in the heart of the hotel and encompasses 360 generalist HR. The key focus of this role is employee engagement and welfare; ensuring that we are recruiting, growing and retaining the best candidates to ensure we continue to deliver 5* service to our guests and team alike. 

The HR Director will develop, train and maintain efficient people practices whilst encompassing  the hotel's brand pillars of Iconic, Individual and Intuitive . 

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Human Resources Director or a similar role within the hospitality industry.   They will have the ability to identify new trends and opportunities, able to demonstrate excellent knowledge. The ability to work to deadlines whilst producing work of a high standard of accuracy is also paramount.

This role requires an active role within the management team and will include attendance at daily/weekly meetings. The ideal candidate will possess a professional approach and demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You must have excellent organisational  and analytical skills.
