Are you as unique as the positions we have to offer? This varied and challenging role requires an enthusiastic, highly motivated and truly professional individual to join our team at The Lowry Hotel - Manchester’s Iconic five-star hotel in the position of Sales Manager. 

Within the framework of the hotel policy and objectives, the Sales Manager has the responsibility for generating revenue for nominated accounts as well as New Business projects targeted towards supporting achievement of the Hotel budget.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing the successful candidate will employ “total account management” across both Transient (bedroom) and Group (MICE and Corporate Groups) this role will focus both on both the National and International Markets.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years sales experience in a similar role within the hotel/hospitality industry. The role involves account management, being involved with the hotel’s strategy and vision, researching and prospecting for new business opportunities, on the road selling, FAM trips; trade shows and will be based in the sales office at The Lowry Hotel.

The successful candidate will be able to exhibit excellent account management skills and manage relationships already cultivated as well demonstrate successfully new business deals personally gained. They will have the ability to identify new trends and opportunities and have excellent financial knowledge. They will be able to work to tight targets and deadlines and are able to change and adapt to the needs of the business, whilst producing work of a high standard of accuracy is also paramount.
