Overview

The Food & Beverage Supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team and the General Manager overseeing daily operations of the F&B Outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards and delivering a luxury dining experience.

This role involves leading, training and supervising F&B Team, maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. The F&B Supervisor will act as a key point of contact between guests and the kitchen and will ensure that all service standards reflect the hotel’s luxury brand.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a warm and welcoming demeanour around the hotel.
• Supervise daily operations of all F&B outlets, including, restaurants, bars, lunges, room service, banquets as assigned).
• Ensure smooth service flow, timely order delivery, and high-quality guest experience.
• Assist in coordination of large events, private dining, and special functions.
• Manage Restaurant bookings, making sure all customers experience five-star service.
• Monitor team schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing F&B Team to deliver superior gust experience.
• Conduct on-the-job training for the team, lead by example.
• Ensure F&B Team is always presentable, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.
• Assist in the onboarding of new team members.
• Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and anticipate their needs, ensure outstanding dining experience.
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
• Handle guests’ inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and reservations, ensuring all communication is handled professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).
• Monitor cleanliness and proper maintenance of all F&B areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensure the service standards align with the hotel’s brand requirements and exceed guest expectations.
• Assist in managing inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimising waste.
• Oversee accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures.
• Assist with monthly inventory checks and stock control.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
• Coordinate with other departments, i.e. housekeeping, front office, for special requests, events and guest needs.
• Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss operations, staff and guest feedback.
• Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.
