Overview

The Waiter/ess works closely with the F&B team on providing the luxury experience to our guest throughout their dining from the moment they enter our property, throughout their experience at our facilities to a post stay experience should they need to call back regarding anything. Your role delivers outstanding customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Your role is critical to creating lasting positive image, maintaining reputation and delivery of unparalleled guest experiences via seamless encounters and meaningful, personalised service delivery during the stay.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Provide detailed information about the menu, including specials and beverage pricing.
• Accurately take orders and ensure all requests, dietary preferences and food allergies are communicated to the kitchen and the bar team.
• Efficiently serve food and drinks while adhering to the highest standards of presentation and service.
• Ensure tables are properly set and cleared in a timely manner.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to confidently make recommendations.
• Actively promote additional items and special menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure F&B outlets are impeccably clean and always organised, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
• Work closely with kitchen team, bartenders and other attendants to provide a seamless service.
• Support fellow team members during busy periods or special events.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, resolving them promptly, or escalating them to the management.
• Assist in managing stock inventory, replenishing items as needed and reporting shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with the preparation and service for special events, banquets, and private dining experiences, ensuring that the event exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
