Part time Commis Chef

Superbly located just off Villiers Street between Charing Cross and Embankment stations, we're a little gem of a real pub in the heart of central London. We offer great food, and a premium selection of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails.
We have a very enthusiastic team, a mix of cultures and a balance of skills. Our priority is to look after the team, with training, incentives, and competitions. We have a progression plan within the pub and Youngs. The Theodore offers staff parties, a day off on your birthday and 20% off in all Young’s pubs and hotels.

We're looking for a superstar Commis to join us for the Christmas period. You'll be looking at 2 or 3 shifts a week or more shifts in a job share with another site. We are looking for pro-active team players who are as happy to wash up as to plate up. We're a small team and everyone gets stuck into whichever duties need to be done.

What we look for in a Commis Chef:

We are looking for an existing Commis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who consider themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef you will:

• Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
• Have high standards and a great work ethic
• Show willingness to learn new skills; be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Working alongside your kitchen team; you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
