General Manager at the Old Mill Riverside Pub with Rooms in Lymington

 Salary £50k to £55k per annum plus TRONC (estimated extra £8k minimum a year) plus an achievable bonus scheme with up to £10k available on the core scheme with a beat budget profit bonus on top.

Fancy running a beautifully refurbished, high volume and absolutely stunning riverside pub with boutique bedrooms in the heart of the New Forest, with real autonomy to run it brilliantly and make it the very best pub in the forest . . .

Proudly part of the Upham Inns group of 14 premium pub’s with rooms in the South of the country making the group big enough to matter, but without being too big and complicated!

We are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated General Manager who is a natural born leader to join us on our very exciting Journey! We are very passionate about what we do and are looking for a superstar who loves great food, delivery of great service as well as having the ability to coach and educate their team.

You will be:

Well, obviously, an awesome pub manager. Making our pub the best in the forest is essential.

Whilst room experience would be preferred, it is not required as this a beautiful, idylic pub, with rooms.

Brilliant with people, creating a team who are ready to smash everything whether it is creating incredible dishes, delighting our Guests or even mopping the floor – a great team will make everything fun!

A bit of a star with numbers. Delivery of great stock control, wastage and labour costs to name a few. We have an awesome bonus scheme to reward great numbers!

Passionate about being 5 star – whether it is tripadvisor reviews or safety, making sure we are always 5 star is crucial to everything we do. Delighting our Guests with awesome food from a beautifully clean and safe kitchen is what turns us on.

Finally you will be the leader of your team. Recruiting the right people, delivery of great training, growing future talent through NVQ’s and apprenticeship schemes and working with your Operations Manager &  Executive Chef to make everything special.
