The Original Tops is a Pasadena favorite, serving delicious, comforting classics in a fast-paced, quick-casual environment. We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Lead Cashiers who are ready to provide great hospitality while helping lead the team during daily operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong cashier and guest-service experience and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities. Our Lead Cashiers help set the tone for the shift by supporting the team, maintaining high standards, and making sure every guest receives friendly, efficient service.

What We’re Looking For

• Open and flexible schedule availability
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, positive, and professional attitude
• Ability to lead by example and support fellow team members
• Confidence handling guest questions and resolving minor concerns
• Strong attention to accuracy when taking orders and handling payments
• Food Handler Certification required
• Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
• Previous leadership or shift-lead experience is a plus

What You’ll Do

• Create a welcoming and positive experience for every guest
• Accurately take orders and process payments
• Support and guide Cashiers throughout the shift
• Help maintain proper cash-handling and register procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift responsibilities
• Help ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained
• Communicate effectively with both Front of House and Back of House team members
• Help address guest concerns and involve a manager when appropriate
• Lead by example by demonstrating urgency, teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality
