Why Woodhead Restaurant Group?

Rather than growing quickly, we've focused on building exceptional restaurants through exceptional people.

Our culture is built around respect, honesty, generosity and continuous improvement, creating an environment where talented hospitality professionals can thrive.

In 2025, we were proud to be recognised as one of Code Hospitality's Happiest Places to Work, reflecting our commitment to creating rewarding, sustainable hospitality careers.

What You'll Be Doing

As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section, maintaining exceptional standards and helping deliver the thoughtful, ingredient-led cooking that Quality Chop House is known for.

Working closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you will:

  • Take ownership of your section during preparation and service.

  • Prepare and present dishes to consistently high standards.

  • Work with exceptional seasonal British ingredients.

  • Contribute ideas and continuously develop your technical skills.

  • Support junior chefs and help maintain a positive kitchen culture.

  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation.

With menus changing regularly to reflect the seasons, every service offers opportunities to learn new techniques and work with outstanding produce.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for chefs who genuinely care about their craft.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Section Chef in a quality restaurant, fine dining or high-end hospitality environment.

  • Strong Demi Chef de Parties or strong Commis Chefs ready for promotion are also encouraged to apply.

  • A passion for seasonal ingredients and modern British cooking.

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

  • A calm, professional approach during busy services.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • A desire to learn, improve and build a long-term career in hospitality.
