Set in 3 acres of gardens on a spur dividing the 2 sandy beaches of Paignton and Preston, this traditional seafront hotel was built in 1856. It’s a 6-minute walk from Paignton Pier and 3 miles from Torquay. This traditional, iconic property provides a great base for exploring the English Riviera and the Jurassic Coast.

The Redcliffe has 70 ensuite rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness suite and 2 seaside restaurants. The Redcliffe has many unique features, including direct access to the beach via a tunnel.

Over the coming months an extensive redevelop programme is being undertaken to transform The Redcliffe into a opulent and luxurious place to stay.

 

Housekeeping Assistant

As we continue to build our iconic team for this iconic building, we are now looking for dedicated, resilient and enthusiastic team who would relish the opportunity to be part of our housekeeping team. 

 We are looking for people who can be passionate about our core values of being creative in our approach, loyal with our relationships and memorable in our delivery.  Our business relies on our housekeeping team to have an incredible eye for detail, to be relentless in their focus and to be ready to add that special bespoke touch to our guests with their welcoming approach.  We want you to feel enabled and trusted so that we build a place to be proud of with an experience that is truly luxury. 

We will provide you with full training for the role, although some experience in housekeeping is preferred. You will need to be able to work at a fast pace and always have an eye for detail. We look for an interest in hospitality, a desire to work as part of a successful team and a positive can do attitude towards their work. 

This role will require weekend working.
