In full growth mode, we have just launched a search for a Catering Manager to join our catering center team at 24-08 40th Avenue in Queens, NY.

Summary of Position

We are rapidly accelerating omnichannel B2C and B2B business to meet our customers’ needs in the evolving business and event landscape. Delivering best-in-class catering services is a critical pillar of The Halal Guys strategic growth plan.

We are looking for an experienced, vibrant, and dynamic catering sales professional with a proven track record to sell, plan, execute and manage The Halal Guys catering business.

Responsibilities:

This role has specific responsibility for driving The Halal Guys catering business through strategic sales, program innovation and operational excellence.

• Develop and execute quarterly business plans and sales strategies that ensure attainment of business goals.
• Establish new clients while growing, servicing, and maintaining existing clients.
• Maintain all client and prospect information.
• Upselling services, which meet the client's needs and maximize revenues.
• Plan, supervise and manage the execution of contracted events.
• Partners with marketing to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives and programs.
• Engage with Operating counterparts to execute on the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Own accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on team activity and revenue contribution.
• Collaborate with food innovation and operation teams to grow The Halal Guys catering services to stay ahead of industry trends and meet customers’ evolving needs.
• Engage with clients and accounts, as appropriate, to ensure catering is well-positioned, that we identify as much business as we can, and to support selling efforts. Serve as an escalation point in the case of client or operational issues.
• Mastery and knowledge of The Halal Guys catering offer, handling large events, and support of clients, operating partners and providing the highest level of customer experience.
• Participates in projects and provides additional support, as assigned by leadership.

Essential Skills / Knowledge

• 3+ years of catering sales experience.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior cold calling and closing ratio.
• Detail-oriented and organized individual with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet all deadlines.
• Results-oriented individual that can work effectively with limited supervision.
• Proven track record of success and sales growth.
• Strong time management skills and follows through on commitments.
• Works well under pressure and able to meet timelines.
• Holds self and others accountable to goals and expectations.
• Represents themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
