Description

Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will support all business lines by driving value with analytics and providing meaningful insights. This position reports to the VP of Finance.


Responsibilities:

·       Support growth by creating financial and operating models with KPIs and develop mechanisms to monitor performance.

·       Support Board and investor material preparation with KPIs and financial metrics. 

·       Assess performance of various operating models at a unit and corporate level.

·       Communicate insights effectively to cross-functional leaders and Sr. leadership.

·       Be an effective cross functional partner to identify and prioritize opportunities to optimize performance.

·       Support strategic initiatives with analytical insights and project management.

·       Support creating budgets, forecasts and assess business line profitability along with key non-financial metrics.

·       Build dashboards with key both Financial and non-financial metrics by partnering with Accounting and Operations.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Ability and passion to transform data into actionable insights.

Strong Excel and Power Point skills.

Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and ability to build dashboards.

Have an entrepreneurial spirit and not be afraid of understanding details without losing sight of the big picture.

Be a promoter of innovation and collaboration to drive performance.

3 to 5 years of experience in analytical role (preferably in Investment banking or private equity).

Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business
