ThinkFoodGroup is
looking for a Legal Associate to work on a broad range of general corporate and commercial
matters, including vendor and commercial contracts, licensing, and financing
arrangements. This candidate will also be expected to work in the management of
claims and litigation, data privacy and information security issues, real
estate matters, labor and employment matters, liquor licensing and trademark
portfolio. This position will frequently collaborate with members across
the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on risks and liabilities
of proposed commercial transactions and devise creative and practical
legal solutions to meet business objectives;
- Structure, draft, and negotiate
a wide variety of commercial and vendor agreements. Review agreements and
contracts for internal departments of Global HQ;
- Provide counsel to team leaders
on a wide variety of legal matters (marketing, commercial, technology and
e-commerce, data privacy and information security, real estate,
employment, liquor licensing and trademark) in consultation with other
members of the legal team and/or outside counsel, as necessary;
- Oversee relationships with
outside counsel, including managing matter and subsidiary budgets;
- Lead initiatives to implement systems
improvements and the preparation, implementation, and refinement of forms,
processes, and procedures;
- Research and stay up-to-date
with applicable laws and industry guidance that impact the company and its
business practices; and
- Obtain and maintain a strong
knowledge of the company, its mission, strategy, and values, service
offerings and objectives of supported business units.

Education/Experience:
- J.D. with top academic
credentials;
- 3+ years’ experience
