Marketing Manager, Los Angeles CA

Equal parts left brain and right brain; this is a fantastic opportunity for a creatively minded marketing professional. TFG's Restaurant Marketing Manager will be an integral member of the marketing team, ensuring consistency, organization, and timeliness of restaurant messaging in the LA area. Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, this individual will be the face of the local marketing team, creating and executing marketing strategies and tactics, including internal planning, on property activations, community outreach, and public relations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the liaison between corporate marketing and the General Managers and Executive Chefs of our area restaurants
  • Manage the internal marketing and communications promotional calendar, ensuring deliverables are executed on time and advising team members on due dates.
  • Collaborate with the various departments to launch local activations
  • Concept around, and execute promotional offers, ensuring all are communicated through the appropriate channels
  • Manage invoice tracking and monthly breakdown of marketing costs against budget.
  • Align with digital and social media to define content calendar in addition to content;, i.e. restaurant e-Newsletters
  • Partner with digital and social teams to ensure activations and campaigns are featured on websites and across various channels
  • Manage menu edits and updates in conjunction with Graphic Designer
  • Maintain local event and promotions database
  • Spearhead local community outreach, developing relationships with key organizations to create partnership programming and impact business

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years' experience in marketing and communications, ideally in the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Excellent organization, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of In-design a plus
  • Strong interest in and passion for food, the restaurant segment, and hospitality business
