FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS MANAGER

José Andrés Group is growing in major markets throughout the US and the world. We are a company of dynamic restaurants which span cuisine, culture and price point but are always guided by our mission to Change the World Through the Power of Food.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) to join our Finance Team in Washington, DC. Successful candidates are energized by challenges, creative problem solving and process centric global support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

·       Complete the annual budget, 3 year plan, and forecast for the entire company under the guidance of the CFO AND organization. 

·       Provide weekly revenue and P&L forecast, and work with the controller to produce a weekly cash forecast.

·       Responsible for guiding the data science team, designing, deployment of performance dashboard, analysis, cause of change, and what of analysis for all business units. 

·       Work with and create business context, line of sight to the strategic annual and 3 year plan to the underwriting analyst. 

·       Lead the weekly performance meeting along with the FP&A team.

·       Assist in the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual investor, board, and parent reporting. 

·       Develop ad-hoc analysis, A-B testing, and sensitivity analysis for Marketing, Operations, and Development. 

·       Support IT, data science team on fulfilling the vision and support mandate to the organization. 

·       CEO. 

·       Process and review weekly flash and operational reporting, weekly, monthly financial forecast for the entire

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and SPECIFICATIONS

·       College degree required, MBA preferred. 

·       Preferred profile – 3-5 years in restaurants, hotels or hospitality

·       Ability to thrive and operate in a high-performance culture with rapid growth

·       Experience operating large costs and revenue centers preferred. 

·       Digitally inclined, proficient with the ability to automate processes using Excel and other digital tools.

·       High level of emotional intelligence to work with and develop the FPA and data science with a team

·       Process oriented and high degree of organizational skills

·       The position has no direct reports

·       The position has about 90% original work and 10% delegated work

·       Reports to the director of FPA 

·       DC based. No material level of travel required

·       High level of ownership, accountability, and self-management

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Proven track record in planning, analytics, ability to work with technology and data team. 

·       Strong numerical and analytical skills. Good problem-solving and time management skills.
