Senior Marketing Manager, DC Area
José Andrés Group (JAG) has a fantastic opportunity for a creatively minded hospitality marketing professional who’s ready to make a difference. An integral member of the marketing team, this DC based Senior Marketing Manager will lead the efforts for key assets across the José Andrés Group portfolio in our hometown Washington, DC.
This Senior Marketing Manager will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be the face of José Andrés Group’s (marketing) in DC, creating and executing marketing strategies and tactics, including internal planning, on property activations, community outreach, and public relations. Partnering with corporate partners, in addition to local PR and social media partners, the Senior Marketing Manager will help to ensure all opportunities receive maximum exposure.
Responsibilities
Serve as the liaison between corporate marketing and the General Managers and Head Chefs of our DC Area restaurants
Manage the internal marketing and communications promotional calendar, overseeing schedules and deliverables
Spearhead local community outreach, developing relationships with key organizations to create partnership programming and impact business
Concept around, and execute promotional offers, ensuring all are communicated through the appropriate channels
Partner with respective teams to garner additional marketing exposure around brands
Align with corporate/branded partners
Oversee respective photoshoots
Collaborate with the departments to launch activations
Align with digital and social media to define content calendar in addition to content
Partner with digital and social teams to ensure activations and campaigns are prominently featured across various channels
Manage menu edits and updates in conjunction with Graphic Designer
Budget management; invoices and monthly accruals of costs against budget
Qualifications/Compensation
Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing and communications, ideally in the hospitality or restaurant industry
