What You’ll Do

As a Back of House (BOH) Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless kitchen operations, food quality, and team efficiency. Your mission is to lead, support, and inspire the BOH team while maintaining high culinary standards, food safety compliance, and operational success in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high food quality
  • Lead and mentor BOH team members, fostering a positive and professional work environment
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are always upheld
  • Assist in training, scheduling, and coaching kitchen staff to maintain operational excellence
  • Monitor inventory levels, ingredient quality, and storage procedures to prevent waste and shortages
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to brand standards
  • Oversee BOH organization, station readiness, and kitchen flow efficiency
  • Work closely with chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers to maintain teamwork and communication
  • Identify and resolve kitchen challenges quickly, ensuring a smooth culinary operation
  • Follow health department sanitation requirements and comply with all food safety regulations
  • Assist with kitchen administrative duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining records
  • Execute tasks assigned by Kitchen Leadership and Executive Chefs with professionalism and enthusiasm

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong understanding of back-of-house operations, food preparation, and kitchen leadership
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and BOH efficiency best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and develop kitchen staff
  • Attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to consistency and quality
  • Ability to work hands-on with the kitchen team, supporting prep and line cooking as needed
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality
