Breakfast Chef (45 Hours per Week with 5pm Finish Times)

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is an artisan coffee roasting and hospitality business that is the soul of the Brighton coffee scene.

Since opening in 2017, Trading Post has expanded to serve freshly roasted coffee, food, and cocktails across Brighton and Sussex.

Exceptional coffee and quality food is at the heart of what we do and who we are, and we always aspire to deliver the best quality, consistency, and hospitality in all our Coffee Houses. We have a passionate and busy team that, despite being under pressure at all times of the day, still manage to have fun on the job and enjoy every working day.

We are looking for a passionate Breakfast Chef who thrives under pressure and is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced and growing group.

Our Trading Post Coffee Houses offer all-day dining with a focus on fresh, seasonal and organic produce.

As a Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food that is in line with our standards. You will be confident working in multiple sections and driven to achieve the best service results and food quality through effectively communicating and working with the rest of the team

What You Can Expect Your Responsibilities to Be...

• Ensure food products and standards are carried out within the required service timings
• Ensure the reputation for excellent food and service is upheld at all times
• Ensure the kitchen is always clean and well equipped for service
• Be customer focused at all times, approachable and quick to exceed customer expectations
• Support in all areas of the kitchen as required
• Be the face of positivity and motivation, bringing your best and most positive self at all times

• Undertake regular training and always be striving for self-improvement
