The Assistant Estate Gardener will support with the maintenance of the grounds around MacLeod House and the clubhouse as well as the wider estate, ensuring that the property is presented to the highest standard at all times.  

Contract: Casual / Seasonal

Reports to: Head of Estate Grounds & Buildings

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day maintenance of the estate grounds, including lawns, planting, pruning and landscaping gardens
• Weed control of the estate grounds, including spraying at required intervals
• Operation of light powered equipment and strict adherence to safety procedures
• Such duties instructed by Head of Estate Grounds & Buildings in line with up-coming events

• Previous experience in a similar role specifically with gardening/landscaping experience
• Commitment to high quality standards and keen eye for detail
• Team player with an ability to multi-task
• Positive attitude with cheerful and courteous demeanour
• Good time management and time keeping
• Full, clean, driving license
