Job description – Golf Course Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Operative to join our golf course maintenance workshop team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized yard and workshop, managing stock levels, and performing light servicing and daily checks on equipment and vehicles.

Job Title: General Operative. Golf Course Maintenance Facility. 

Location: Golf Course Maintenance Facility.

Reports To: Equipment Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a tidy and organized yard and workshop area.

• Perform light servicing and upkeep on golf course machinery and tools.

• Monitor and organize stock of spare parts and supplies.

• Assist with deliveries and ensure materials are stored safely.

• Support the maintenance team in general tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment maintenance.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to operate small machinery is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Applicants should be comfortable with physical tasks and light manual labor.
