Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team as Bartenders. The Bartender is a key member of our service team responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, with precision and creativity.
  2. Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and engage in friendly conversations. Provide recommendations and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.
  3. Mixology: Create and innovate cocktails while following established recipes and maintaining consistency in presentation and taste.
  4. Bar Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and labeling of all ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools.
  5. Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage the rotation of perishable items to minimize waste.
  6. Cash Handling: Process guest payments accurately, handle cash responsibly, and provide change or receipts as required.
  7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all relevant alcohol laws and safety regulations, including checking identification to verify the legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
  8. Teamwork: Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and seamless service. Support colleagues during busy periods.

Qualifications:

  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

·       Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.

·       Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.

·       Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
