About Us

At V&E Hospitality, delivering exceptional service isn't just for our guests—it extends to how we support our internal teams and partners. We believe seamless back-of-house financial operations create the foundation for world-class guest experiences. We are looking for an Accounting Project Manager who brings hands-on leadership, financial rigor, and a service-first mindset to our accounting team.

Role Overview

As the Accounting Project Manager, you will serve as a vital bridge between financial precision and operational excellence. You will lead a team of talented accounting professionals, ensuring timely financial reporting, robust compliance, and smooth monthly close processes. By treating cross-functional partners as your "guests," you will drive process enhancements, support new hospitality initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with Hospitality: Serve as a supportive, hands-on mentor to a team of accounting professionals, cultivating a culture of growth, collaboration, and high performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, food & beverage, guest services, and corporate leadership to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and foster open communication.

  • Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Direct the month-end close cycle to deliver accurate, timely financial results, guiding your team to successfully execute period-end responsibilities.

  • Compliance & Technical Guidance: Monitor GAAP developments to ensure accounting policies remain fully compliant and reflect new business transactions or revenue streams.

  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify and execute strategic initiatives that modernize procedures, eliminate operational friction, and enhance efficiency across your areas of ownership.

  • Special Projects: Prepare tailored reports and manage key financial projects as assigned by the Controller and executive management.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (hospitality industry experience preferred).

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of empowering, guiding, and supporting team members.

  • Analytical & Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to balance technical logic with creative solutions to resolve complex operational and financial challenges.

  • Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Strong attention to detail with an unyielding commitment to accuracy and financial precision.

  • Adaptability: A service-oriented, proactive approach to managing new business initiatives in a dynamic environment.
