Job Title: Cafe Lead / Barista
Reports to: Operations Manager
Classification: Full-time
Starting wage: hourly + tips based on experience

Vice City Bean is a specialty coffee company with 3 Miami locations. As we continue to grow in 2022 we are looking to expand our Cafe/Barista teams. We have an immediate opening for a Cafe Lead/Barista at our Brickell/Sabadell Financial Center location.

This LEAD position currently is Monday - Friday, with Saturday opening at a future date. Cafe service hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm, subject to change. We are looking for a career-minded experience barista with experience leading a team. You must have 2 years speciality coffee experience. Candidates should be familiar with Vice City Bean and this location. We recommend visiting prior to applying.

You should:

have a passion for coffee, great food, and hospitality

You will:

be outgoing, engaging, and stay knowledgeable about our coffee, food and other products.
provide excellent hospitality to our customers and your coworkers
have advanced coffee knowledge and barista skills: latte art, dialing in espresso, drip and pour over coffees
take care of customers with an understanding of their time; we serve with accuracy & speed
be engaged in the full cafe operations and constantly improve your skills in regards to daily operations, including:

Opening & Closing procedures
Customer service
Coffee brewing and drink preparation
Food service
Service ware washing and general cafe cleaning
Restocking supplies
maintaining a clean and organized FOH/BOH

accurately take orders and handle cash and card transactions
direct, mentor and assist with skills development with the team
