Under Canvas began in 2009 with the opening of an all-inclusive glamping adventure package and has since grown to include eight luxury glamping resorts and a customized event’s offering, bringing the glamping experience to life anywhere in the country. And we continue to grow and reach our goal of 40 glampsites by 2023.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Warehouse Technician with Under Canvas, your primary functions will be to order, receive, and maintain proper inventory levels; pre-packing, quality control, and filling camp orders accurately and timely.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome delivery trucks
• Receive and track shipments
• Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
• Tag and label merchandise
• Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
• Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Prepare all orders for shipment
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)

employees as well as collaboration with our sales staff and vendors
• The candidate will be energetic, able to work independently and without close supervision (i.e.,
a self-starter), and enthusiastic for the job at hand
• Proud of doing an important job and doing it well
• Experience with warehouse and inventory management preferred
• Solid computer skills needed
• Excited about running an efficient warehouse and inventory system, and ready to work
diligently
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Camp / Resort Experience
• Shipping to multiple sites
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High school diploma or a GED equivalent
