We are due to start producing beers in October @ Brewpoint - our new modern brewery offering the pubs and people of our heartland not just amazing beers but tours, bar, taproom, restaurant and events.
To help drive our ambitions we are looking for a beer ambassador to preach all things Brewpoint! You will be the face of our new brewery in our own pubs and local area. Your knowledge of beer and love of our brewery will be infectious internally and externally.
Based in pubs everyday (nightmare, right?) you will be responsible for driving awareness of all our new brands and supporting our retail development managers with converting interest into sales. Once the beers are on the bars you will be responsible for making sure, bar staff are trained, the ROS is strong and consumer loyalty to the beers and brands is so high they are advocates. You will have autonomy to create and try new ideas and well as implementing central activity to increase trial and recognition – feeding back any insights from activity in trade and have the confidence to present this to the wider team.
You will be part of the sales and marketing team reporting to the Sales Manager however you will have everyone’s support back at Brewpoint. You will be targeted on gaining distribution points across our pub partners and managed businesses, rate of sale of the beers listed, number of consumer events held, number of customers brought to the brewery and generally getting our beers into the consumers hands.

Responsibilities:
- Calling on all our owned pubs to talk and promote Brewpoint
- Supporting operations in converting leads into distribution points
- Cementing our brand positions on the bar wherever listed
- Hosting consumer sampling sessions across pubs and at Brewpoint
- Holding training sessions and developing bar staff, turning them into Brewpoint ambassadors
- Making sure all sites present our beers with the right POS
- Be the go-to person around segmentation – live and breathe making sure ALL pubs have the right beers on the bar at the right price
- Deliver commercial arguments for listings our beers verses competitor brands
- Share successes with the internal team of new listings across our estate
- Feedback insights into the marketing team to help develop future activity
- Develop and implement sales building activity across the estate
- Attend and promote our beers at festival and events
- Grow rate of sale of Brewpoint beers in existing accounts & win additional distribution and maintain perfect execution of the Brewpoint brand in trade, from quality of our beer to activation on the bar
- Differentiate our brand through innovative support that adds value to our customers
- Achieve minimum number of calls and prospects per week
- Represent Brewpoint at promotions, tastings and special events
- Seek out beer related educational opportunities and keep up to date by reading industry publications
The experience we desire:
• Previous experience of selling into the on-trade pub industry
