Chef de Partie – Burger & Pizza Chef (Solo Kitchen Role – Full Time)
We’re looking for a versatile and confident Chef de Partie to join our team and take full ownership of our Burger and Pizza kitchens. This is a solo role, working independently in one of two dedicated kitchens depending on the shift.
Our setup is fast-paced, hands-on, and focused on fresh, high-quality food. One day you're stretching dough and firing pizzas, the next you're smashing patties and loading burgers. You’ll run the kitchen solo from prep to service, so confidence, organisation, and calm under pressure are key.
What We Offer Our Chefs:
Full-time hours (average 40+ per week)
Weekly pay
Free meals on shift
20% discount in all Young's Pubs and Hotels
28 days holiday
Company Pension Scheme
Sharesave Scheme
Access to our CDP - Sous Chef Development Programme
Access to our Apprenticeship Scheme – gain a nationally recognised qualification while you work
Culinary Masterclasses to sharpen your skills
A Rota That Works for You:
Our current chefs work 4 double shifts per week, giving them 3 days off in a row – and they love it. We’re ideally looking for someone who enjoys that rhythm too. You’ll get the hours you need while keeping your work/life balance in check.
What We’re Looking For:
A skilled Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step
Comfortable working solo in a busy kitchen
Experience cooking with fresh ingredients, ideally both pizzas and burgers
Able to work quickly, cleanly, and with care – health and safety is our highest priority
Self-motivated, highly organised, and calm during busy services
A team player when needed, with strong communication skills
Willing to learn, grow, and contribute ideas to menus and specials
Reliable, punctual, and ready to take real pride in your work
This is a role with real ownership – a kitchen that’s yours to run, with the support and development opportunities to grow your career.
Apply now and take the next step as a Chef de Partie in a kitchen where you can truly make your mark.
