Job description
Our cooks are the crafters of our product. They play a crucial role in distinguishing the ‘wichcraft brand by executing our menu offering with the upmost attention to freshness, working with speed and efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service:
-interact with guests and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Efficiently process guests’ orders and demonstrate follow-through on necessary service points.

Product Knowledge:
- Possess complete understanding of menu offering (recipes, portion control and presentation specifications.)

Service
-Complete all service tasks in a timely manner to ensure station efficiency during peak and off peak times.
-Safeguard quality and presentation through proper handling of product and attention to detail.
-Work in cooperation with fellow cook team members as directed.

Growth:
- Demonstrate ability to improve in speed and multitasking as directed.
- Demonstrate mastery of skills necessary for various stations within kitchen (cold prep, press, salamander.)

Store Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of cook’s line, refrigerators, prep and storage areas.
- Uphold cleanliness of entire store in accordance with NYC Department of Health standards.
