Job Summary

The Barback provides attentive, efficient support to the bar team, ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service. This role assists bartenders with essential tasks, helps maintain par levels, and supports smooth and timely beverage service. The ideal candidate is fast-paced, organized, and committed to delivering an elevated guest experience through behind-the-scenes excellence.

Essential Job Functions

• Support bartenders by ensuring seamless workflow, restocking supplies, and anticipating service needs.

• Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, equipment, and bar stations in accordance with all health department and company standards.

• Replenish par stock levels for all beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.

• Stock server wells according to specifications, ensuring all products are readily available.

• Collect, transport, and restock glassware from bar and dish areas; ensure all glassware is polished and stored properly.

• Maintain organized, clean, and safe beverage storage areas.

• Refill ice wells and maintain ice levels throughout service.

• Assist in opening and closing duties for the bar area.

• Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests and cocktail servers when needed.

• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 21 years of age.

• Minimum 2 years of barback or related bar support experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant/bar.

• Working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
