Yard Sale Pizza serve award-winning neighbourhood pizza. We're hiring a talented Full time Second Pizza chef.
We’re a young but growing business currently with 8 sites, offering plenty of career progression for hard working individuals.
Duties:
- Showcase your wonderful pizza-making skills;
- Ensuring the kitchen service is running smoothly;
- Taking ownership when the Head Chef is off;
- Adhering to the highest standards, including cleanliness;
- Training the team alongside the Head Chef;
- Completing all prep as required;
- Cleaning down the kitchen including deep cleans when required;
- Take responsibility of your workstation;
- Work collaboratively in a team alongside FOH.
Requirements:
- You must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings;
- Experience stretching, baking and making dough in a fast-paced environment;
- Be an excellent team player;
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and speak English.
Working with a fantastic team in a fun environment, and we believe in a brilliant work/life balance so you won't be working super-late. There's lots of opportunities to progress to a Head Chef role as we have really ambitious expansion plans!
We're able to offer a permanent position and looking for experienced pizza chefs who want to grow with us.

The Location: Our second shop south of the river in Balham serving the folk of South-West London, second shop opened in the midst of the pandemic in March 2021 and still going strong! We are open for delivery & collection seven days a week, with a few spots outside to perch with your pizza when things are bit more normal. We've moved into an exceptional neighbourhood, with plenty of restaurants and bars to grab a drink after work :)
About Us: Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 10 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie!
We’ve won London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022.
