Description

The People & Culture Coordinator supports the People & Culture team by assisting with various aspects of human resources administration. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and People & Culture policy compliance. The People & Culture Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of People & Culture processes and provides valuable support to employees across the organization.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the People & Culture team in all aspects of human resources administration, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, providing them with necessary information and resources to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
  • Initiate background checks for new hires and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, terminations, and changes to employment status, in HRIS systems
  • Assist with the development and implementation of People & Culture policies, procedures, and initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on People & Culture-related matters, escalating complex issues to People & Culture management as necessary
  • Maintain clear communication with department managers to provide updates on People & Culture matters and ensure alignment with organizational goals

 

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or related administrative role, with restaurant/hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Passion for HR and a commitment to supporting the needs of employees and the organization
