Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage all sections and ensure every section is fully prepared, maintaining Zuma’s signature standards
• Monitor the quality of dishes during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate
• Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food storage, handling, and cleanliness across the kitchen
• Oversee food ordering, receiving, and inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and manage costs
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and productivity, while working closely with Front of House to ensure seamless service

• Proven experience as a sous chef in a luxury high-volume restaurant
• A strong leader who thrives in supporting and mentoring kitchen teams to achieve excellence
• Well organised, customer-oriented and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
• Previous experience in Japanese cuisine desired but not essential
