Luxury award winning Japanese restaurant - ZUMA - on Madison Avenue is now recruiting for skilled LINE AND PREP COOKS to join our family. With 12 restaurants around the world, ZUMA truly is a global force in luxury hospitality.
We are looking for experienced Line Cooks, and Prep Cooks who have worked on different sections in a busy kitchen.
As a Line Cook for Zuma we need to you have great knife skills and the ability to work well under pressure - we are busy restaurants! You should have a strong passion for cooking and be excited about learning a new cuisine and dishes!
As a Prep Cook you will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
If you have worked in busy restaurants before and have the skills to work in a luxury, fast moving section then we want to hear from you!
