As a Zuma Senior Restaurant Manager, you are supporting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests. This role provides leadership across the FOH team, maintains high service standards, and supports operational efficiency and profitability. The Senior Restaurant Manager acts as a key member of the leadership team, helping drive performance, mentor managers and staff, and ensure the restaurant consistently reflects Zuma’s standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the General Manager in leading the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and exceptional guest experiences
  • Provide leadership and guidance to FOH managers and service teams to maintain Zuma’s service standards and operational excellence
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the restaurant floor staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of FOH staff and managers, promoting a high-performing and engaged team environment
  • Oversee scheduling for FOH team, ensuring sufficient staffing levels to meet business demands while optimizing labor costs
  • Monitor operational performance during service periods and provide real-time support to the team to maintain service quality
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of restaurant supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate with kitchen leadership to ensure timely and accurate food service and effective communication between FOH and BOH teams
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor budgets, payroll records, and financial transactions to ensure adherence to financial targets and operational controls
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service expectations, menu updates, and operational priorities
  • Mentor and develop FOH team members through coaching, feedback, and training initiatives
  • Ensure the dining room and guest-facing areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and operational readiness
