JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this job is to oversee the operations of the wine department, offering expert advice on wine selection and pairing, upholding elevated standards to surpass customer expectations, and assuming responsibility for all aspects of the department.


MAIN DUTIES:

  • The purpose of this job is to oversee the operations of the wine department, offering expert advice on wine selection and pairing, upholding elevated standards to surpass customer expectations, and assuming responsibility for all aspects of the department.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Wine to maintain and enhance the wine list and offerings.
  • Maximize up-selling opportunities during service to boost revenue.
  • Monitor operating costs, manage budgets, and implement actions to control expenditures.
  • Oversee team scheduling, performance assessments, and provide ongoing training and development.
