Description

As a Zuma Receiver, you are responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of goods, and accurately recording inventory transactions. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the efficient functioning of Zuma’s kitchen and support our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receive incoming deliveries of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
  • Inspect deliveries for quality, freshness, and adherence to specifications, rejecting any items that do not meet standards
  • Record and document inventory transactions, including receipt, storage, transfer, and disposal of goods, using electronic inventory management systems
  • Label and store received items in designated storage areas, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits to reconcile inventory records with actual stock on hand
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization in the receiving area, including storage shelves, bins, and refrigerators

  • Familiarity with inventory management software or electronic systems for recording and tracking inventory
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
