As Event Sales Manager at Zuma, you will be responsible for booking, planning, and executing events, while driving sales and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will collaborate with chefs, operations leaders, and other team members to seamlessly coordinate events and maintain high standards of service. The Events Sales Manager will help oversee the Event process from start to finish.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Book and coordinate events, ensuring all details are accurately captured and executed
  • Drive event sales through proactive selling, showing, and closing techniques
  • Develop and implement floor plans for events, ensuring optimal layout and flow
  • Attend meetings with chefs, operations leaders, and clients to discuss event details and requirements
  • Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise
  • Close out billing for events, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct outreach activities to generate new leads and build relationships with potential clients
  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads, maintaining a professional and timely response to all inquiries
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Zuma's offerings to effectively sell and promote the venue

 

What We Look For

  • 1-2 years of experience in event sales, preferably within a restaurant or hotel restaurant environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in using event management and sales software
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
