The Bartender is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality and hospitality driven beverage service in an elevated dining environment. This role is ideal for an experienced bartender with strong technical skills who values precision, consistency, and hospitality, and takes pride in executing a well-defined cocktail program.
As a Bartender, you are expected to independently manage bar service for assigned shifts, providing attentive service to bar guests while efficiently preparing beverage orders for the dining room. This position requires the ability to execute beverage service with minimal supervision, following established recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across all locations while maintaining proper cash handling, alcohol service, and inventory control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver consistently high levels of polished, professional guest service while maintaining a safe and well-controlled bar environment, including identifying and confidently addressing disruptive behavior.
Maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation of the bar area in accordance with company standards and local health department requirements
Work efficiently and with urgency to ensure timely beverage service for both bar guests and the dining room during high-volume service periods
Serve as a primary point of communication between the bar team and Servers, Bussers, and Runners to support coordinated service flow.
Complete all opening, closing, and side work duties independently according to established procedures and ensure standards are consistently met
Ensure all products are used accurately, responsibly, and consistently in alignment with the Beverage Director’s specifications and approved menu guidelines
Maintain proper back bar and well setup, including correct placement, organization, and labeling of spirits
Prepare cocktails using precise measurement and proper techniques to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Ensure all prep items are prepared correctly, labeled, dated and stocked for service
Build professional guest facing rapport that enhances the bar experience while maintaining efficiency and service standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of recent bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume dining environment
Demonstrated ability to execute a structured cocktail program without hands-on training
Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar techniques
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency, accuracy, and speed
Professional appearance and hospitality-forward mindset
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand for the duration of assigned shifts and lift up to 35 lbs
