Sous Chef

Description

Shepherd Neame is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team, so if you are a proven chef with experience at a senior level and you are looking for a new challenge; this may be just the job for you.

Boasting an enviable location on the banks of the River Wey in Guildford, Surrey, the Britannia is an award winning Shepherd Neame pub that serves up fine food, drink and family-friendly hospitality at the heart of town. It’s both a popular spot for locals and a great base for visitors - with the town’s top attractions and historic cobbled High Street just a stone’s throw away.

We know that an excellent Sous Chef is one of the key ingredients to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you supporting your Head Chef, deputising in their absence and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient, high quality food service to our customers.

  • Competitive hourly pay rate or salary
  • A share of tips in addition to your pay
