Position Summary:
At Carlo’s Bakery, we are looking for a Mixer to prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes to produce high-quality baked goods. This includes operating equipment, ensuring quality, and adhering to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and mix raw materials according to Carlo’s Bakery specific recipes or production instructions
- Set up, operate, and adjust industrial mixers and other equipment used to blend ingredients
- Use and maintain mixers and related machinery to keep production running smoothly
- Ensure all batches meet consistency and quality standards
- Perform routine checks and cleaning of mixers and related equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area • Keep detailed records of batch quantities, ingredients used, etc.
- Work closely with bakers and productions managers to ensure efficient workflow and timely production
- Assist with tracking and managing inventory levels of ingredients and report when supplies need replenishment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bakery, food production facility
- Able to follow recipes accurately and adjust quantities as needed
- Ability to lift heavy bags (40-50lbs) of ingredients and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of mixers and kitchen equipment
