We are looking for a Waiter to join our family. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and has previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Food and Beverage manager.

Location: The Chesterfield Mayfair, London 

Employment type: Full-time

Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off 

Salary: £25,397.00 per annum+ service charge

The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel part of Red Carnation Hotels is a four star boutique hotel based in the heart of exclusive Mayfair. Some of its features include 107 bedrooms as well as 7 different events spaces, a Butler’s Restaurant, a Terrace Bar and a Conservatory where we offer our guests a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and exquisite food and drink. 

Key Responsibilities of a Waiter:

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Be fully familiar with all menu items and products available to offer informed recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Ensure tables are cleaned, set up to the highest standards, and maintained throughout the service period.
  • Engage with guests and provide attentive service, ensuring every experience is memorable.
  • Maintain all food service areas to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with hotel standards.

  • Ability to connect with guests and provide personalised service with a warm, professional attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of service and presentation are consistently met.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to work seamlessly within a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
