We are looking for a full-time Bar Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a bar, a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, and a confident, outgoing personality. This person should be a natural leader with the ability to guide a shift while working collaboratively with the team. The Bar Supervisor will report directly to Bar Manager.  

Key Responsibilities of a Bar Supervisor:

  • Welcome and interact with guests, providing friendly and professional service while offering drink recommendations.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the menu and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards of service.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the bar, ensuring it’s fully stocked and ready for service.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the bar during your shift, managing service flow and product quality.
  • Accurately handle transactions and ensure the proper use of the POS system.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the bar operates efficiently throughout your shift.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous bar or hospitality experience, with strong knowledge of classic cocktails and a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring smooth operations during your shift.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation, ensuring the bar area is always prepared and fully stocked.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and composure.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and busy service times.
