As a Hospitality Team Member at goop kitchen, you're the heart of the guest experience. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable face our guests count on — welcoming them in, guiding them through our menu, and making sure every visit feels special. This is a hands-on, people-first role for someone who loves great food, genuinely enjoys taking care of others, and thrives in a fast-paced, positive environment.

Be the Face of Our Guest Experience

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and make them feel at home from the moment they walk in
  • Share your passion for our food and help guests navigate our menu with confidence
    Anticipate needs, respond to questions with care, and go the extra mile to make every visit memorable

Deliver Exceptional Service

  • Execute service with consistency, attention to detail, and a genuine smile
  • Stay attentive and present on the floor throughout your shift
  • Handle guest feedback graciously and flag any concerns to a leader right away

Keep Things Running Smoothly

  • Preparing the lobby, patio, and restrooms for service at the start of each shift, ensuring all guest-facing areas are clean, stocked, and ready
  • Confirming the packing station is fully stocked with bags, stickers, desserts, and beverages
  • Wiping down all patio tables, chairs, and guest contact surfaces; confirming trash and recycling cans are lined and ready
  • Ensuring restrooms are stocked with towels, hand soap, and trash liners at opening and maintained throughout the shift with checks every 30 minutes
  • Keeping entry doors, glass, and windows clean and smudge-free throughout the shift
  • Welcoming guests, opening doors, assisting with orders, and supporting a positive experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave
  • Supporting dining area cleanliness continuously — removing trash, wiping down tables, and sweeping so every table looks guest-ready after each visit
  • Assisting at the packing station to support accurate, timely order handoff as needed
  • Closing out your shift by restocking all supplies, thoroughly cleaning restrooms, and ensuring the opening team is set up for success

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, fast-casual, or hospitality setting is a plus — but a great attitude and willingness to learn matter most
  • Genuine love for food, people, and creating a great guest experience
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable personality
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and upbeat in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
