Hawksmoor Edinburgh

Description

Sales & Events Manager, Edinburgh

Since 2006, Hawksmoor has been the UK’s home of ethically sourced, grass-fed beef, cooked over charcoal and paired with award-winning wines and cocktails. We’re proud to be a certified B Corp, one of the industry’s most sustainable restaurant groups, and consistently recognised as one of the Best Companies to Work For.

As Sales & Events Manager at Hawksmoor Edinburgh, you’ll lead sales and events for the restaurant. You’ll drive private dining, group and event bookings and make sure every one of them feels genuinely special. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for a natural relationship builder who knows Edinburgh’s business and social scene and loves turning an enquiry into a night guests talk about for years. You’ll work closely with our Group Head of Sales, the General Manager and the Marketing team, and look after the full guest journey from first enquiry to post-event follow-up.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive revenue across private dining, groups, corporate bookings, celebrations, buyouts and weddings
  • Respond to every enquiry within 2 hours with tailored proposals that maximise spend per head
  • Host show rounds, tastings and client meetings that turn first-time bookers into regulars
  • Build partnerships with concierges, corporates, PA networks, hotels, agencies and travel partners across Edinburgh
  • Represent Hawksmoor locally through networking, events and community connections
  • Brief the kitchen, floor and reservations teams so every event runs seamlessly
  • Track leads, bookings and conversions in TripleSeat and report on progress against targets
  • Grow our Hawksmoor Rewards and PA databases and our third-party event listings

Who You Are

  • Experienced in sales and events within a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality venue
  • A confident relationship builder who loves hosting and entertaining clients
  • Commercially minded, target-driven and highly organised
  • Calm under pressure, with a real eye for detail
  • Well connected in Edinburgh, or excited to become so
  • Experienced with TripleSeat or a similar events system (a bonus, not a must)

Our Values

Welcome Everyone
We create warm, inclusive spaces where people feel genuinely welcome.

Work Hard and Be Nice to People
We set high standards and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Hit Hawksmoor Standards
We care deeply about quality and consistency every day.

Keep Evolving
We stay curious, open to feedback and always looking to improve.

Benefits

  • Paid overtime on salaries
  • Tronc paid for every hour you work, including holidays and breaks
  • Free team meals on shift
  • 50% off food at Hawksmoor for you and your loved ones
  • Income protection and death in service cover
  • Paid annual volunteer days
  • Wagestream early wage access and financial wellbeing tools
  • Referral bonuses from day one
  • Exclusive savings on travel, shopping and experiences
  • Restaurant welfare budget for snacks, drinks and support
  • Full training and development with clear progression pathways

We’re building a team that reflects the richness and diversity of the communities we serve. At Hawksmoor, we welcome everyone and believe in creating a workplace where individuality is celebrated, kindness is key and high standards are met together. If this role excites you but you don’t meet every requirement, please apply anyway. You might be exactly who we’re looking for
