Chicago is the historical powerhouse of American beef, so when we found an actual powerhouse building, it felt like fate. Our home is the LaSalle Street Cable Car Powerhouse, a beautiful landmark from 1887 that we’ve lovingly restored and brought back to life.

At Hawksmoor, our drinks get just as much love as our steaks. Reporting to the Beverage AGM and General Manager, we’re looking for a Floor Manager with a real passion for beverage to help run the floor and lead our cocktail program

What you’ll do:

• Guided by the US beverage director, Own the beverage side of the restaurant. Be responsible for effective ordering and inventory that are in line with targets. 
• Have a strong understanding of Hawksmoor beverage standards. And not only lead by example but hold others to account to ensure standards are being met every service. 
• Be a role model for "Work hard and be nice to people"
• Train and inspire the team so everyone talks about our drinks with confidence
• Run a brilliant floor and deliver excellent service and hospitality
• Support with recruiting, hiring and training the team
• Keep loss prevention, cash handling and safety standards on point

What you’ll bring:

• A strong beverage background, where you have been effective in leading teams towards a shared goal.
• Experience running high volume restaurant floors in Chicago
• Great leadership skills and a knack for coaching and building a happy team culture
• A cool head under pressure
• Knowledge of Chicago health, safety, food safety and alcohol service standards, plus systems like OpenTable and Aloha
