Chef de Partie
Welcome to House of Gods where velvet decadence meets rock ‘n’ roll chic. We’re not your average hotel and we’re not looking for average people.
We want a Full-Time Chef De Partie who is sharp, reliable, and thrives when the kitchen turns up the heat. This is a full-time role, so we’re looking for someone ready to commit fully to the pace, precision, and personality of House of Gods. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team through busy services, and deliver exceptional dishes that make every guest experience feel seriously special.
This isn’t a casual cover shift or a few hours here and there. This is a full-time CDP role for someone ready to take ownership, support the Head Chef, and be right at the heart of the kitchen.
You are:
- Confident, organised, and calm when the kitchen is at full pace.
- Hands-on, unflappable under pressure, and obsessed with flavour, consistency, and presentation.
- Experienced as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant kitchen.
- A master of multitasking, balancing preparation, service, section readiness, and team coordination without compromising standards.
- A confident kitchen leader who takes ownership, solves problems quickly, and develops the team through clear direction and a hands-on example.
- Passionate about great food, with strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management, stock control, and reducing waste.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen
operations and leading the kitchen in their absence, keeping service organised
and standards consistently high.
- Leading, training, and supporting the kitchen team, coordinating preparation and service to deliver dishes with precision, consistency, and style.
- Managing mise en place, section readiness, stock
rotation, and kitchen cleanliness, while supporting ordering, portion control,
and waste reduction.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and allergen
controls, and ensuring clear communication between the kitchen, floor, bar, and
hotel teams.
- Supporting menu development with the Head Chef and keeping food quality, presentation, and service timings on point throughout every shift.
We offer:
- A workplace built on energy, excess, and absolute style.
- Real progression for real people.
· Full training, but we expect you to bring strong kitchen experience, hands-on leadership, and a real passion for great food.
- 20% accommodation discount.
- Wagestream access your earned pay when you need it.
- Monthly Tronc Scheme.
- Staff Recognition Programme we shout out legends.
- Our iconic yearly staff ball.
- A chance to be part of something unforgettable.
- This isn’t just a job. It’s a statement.
If you’ve got the experience and the edge apply now and let’s make some magic.
